SellOn_Clause
I did a search but couldn't find information on this... :o If you buy a player and there's a transfer clause (say... 50% sell-on) and the selling club hits financial problems and your club negotiates that clause being removed for some financial compensation... does that £ come out of your transfer budget or out of your club's budget? As an example: Let's say you're managing Hull and you buy a promising player from L2 team Accrington Stanley for a low fee plus 50% future sell-on. A year later Accrington Stanley's financials are in bad shape and they risk going into administration. Your club negotiates the removal of the sell-on clause for (off the top of my head) £200,000. Now my question is... :o Does that money come out of your transfer budget or out of the club's bankroll itself? :o
Pacman Jones
Bankroll I believe, not the budget.
