samb_95 Posted May 22, 2010 Share Posted May 22, 2010 After years of hard graft, I've finally accomplished a target I've wanted to achieve since I first got FM, to become a club legend. I've managed Arsenal for 6 seasons (2017 - 2023), and during that time I've won the EPL 6 times, the CL 5 times and the FA Cup 3 times. These trophies have also seen me climb above Sir Alex Ferguson on the Hall of Fame, along with two more EPL's with Newcastle. Has anyone else managed to become a legend for any club before, and if so, who were you managing?, how long did it take you to do it?, and what did you have to do to achieve legend status? Lower Leagues Rule Posted May 22, 2010 Share Posted May 22, 2010 I just received Legend Status at the end of my latest season as Lusitano de Evora in Portugal, I started in the 3rd tier in 2010/11, and have just finished the 2026/27 season, we have won the Liga Sagres 4 times running, Portuguese Cup twice, League Cup three times (Including Back to back) and the Super Cup 3 times. AbsoluteGenius Posted May 22, 2010 Share Posted May 22, 2010 On FM09 I won at least ten La Ligas, seven Champions Leagues and about twelve Kings Cups with Barcelona and didn't even get on the favoured personnel list. However on FM10 I'm already an icon with Juventus in 2015 after winning three Serie A, three Champions Leagues and one Tim Cup (and all of the bonus cups like World Club Championships). On FM09 the board would still sack you even if you were a legend, I tried it with my Nantwich Town team. Is it just there for cosmetic purposes? The board should not sack you because of all the great things you have achieved with the club! The fans would be outraged! This need some tweeking! I was given a £25m budget with Khimki after finishing 2nd in the Champions League, (The Year after winning it), and £25m seems like a lot but I'd sold £90m worth of players and my average budget was about £50-70m over the past 3/4 seasons. I actullay tried it for fun to get a new stadium, cause when i was promoted to PL my stadium was 2500. But they would fire me.
