Yid Army Posted May 21, 2010 Share Posted May 21, 2010 Yeah, he's 29, past his peak, possibly struggling to get into the Tottenham team, may have poor fitness, etc. and he has decided that he'd rather prolong his career with the club he loves rather than risk it playing for an England side that has on average given him just three caps a year since his debut.
