Linking and names

Recommended Posts

As the title suggests i need to know how to rename a link for a screen shot instead of just having (http://i45.tinypic.com/2m6laug.jpg) as my link i would like to rename it to something different (e.g. Player of the Year) or something like this. Others who post screenies can do this i would like to know how. Any help is great!!!!!!!!

Thanks in advance

This should help

How to Post a Screenshot

While in FM, press Alt and F9

A picture will be saved to a screenshots folder, in the FM10 folder in your documents

Upload the image to an image hosting website such as Photobucket

Post the direct Url to the image here.

How to Add Links

At the top of the forum, go to 'quick links' then 'edit options'. At the bottom, select 'enhanced interface' and save the changes. This will give you access to the extra posting tools that make it easier to post links. Once you've done this, highlight the word you wish to turn into a link, then use the link button (looks like a little globe) to paste in the direct Url to your screenshot.

Just to clear things up a bit.

When you click the chain it asks for the URL, copy the URL and you get:

(URL="http://i45.tinypic.com/2m6laug.jpg")http://i45.tinypic.com/2m6laug.jpg (/url)

Obviously with square, rather than round brackets. Change the part I've highlighted in red to what you want to call the link.

It will then look like this:

Player of the Year
