Potential/current ability in national team coaching

Is it possible to assess CA or PA when coaching a national team, e.g., through the star rating system? I cannot find this option, which, for example, means it is impossible to predict if a youngster is promising or not.

I'd appreciate if you can comment on this.

Your coaches will offer you scouting ratings of many players. But you have to find good talents yourself, look at their rating, price tag, clubs they play for.
