Question about Tournaments

So, why cant I see matches in tournaments if i'm not playing in them ?

Of course, I can check results, but I have to do it myself, 'World' --> 'World Cup' etc.

In latest versions of FM, I saw all of important matches/ tournaments, I mean, I have to click, to play it, so I could see results automatically, even if i wont play there.

PS. Sorry for my non perfect English, I hope that someone know what I'd like to say

Thanks, that's what I was looking for.

But I have one more question, Champions league for example, I set it to see results everyday and it shows me results even if there aren't any new matches, it's strange and time wasting - to show results every week it's too rare to see matches "live"

Is it possible to set it as it was in lastest FMs ? I mean to see results if there are any new matches only, is it possible to set?
