Has a club you're managing ever gone out of business? Or has it been saved at the last minute by a wealthy investor?

Possible for SI to make a club go extinct in the near future? That would be interesting wouldn't it? Just look at Chester City!

I think there is a legal issue with it and tbh think how complicated it would be messing up the league structures. Could lead to a lot of knock on effects & bugs. Not to mention a lot of unhappy customers.

Theres some sort of legal issue that doesn't allow a team to go out of business, only into administration.

I believe that IRL, the rule is you can go into administration twice, after that you have to go into liquidation. Don't take my word for it though, not 100% sure.

I've never understood why a club can't go out of business on FM though, purely because of legal reasons. It's a game and wouldn't exactly have a knock on effect in reality; so this "legal issue" business seem's a bit stupid to me.

I dont think it will ever happen, if i remember correctly SI would have a lawsuit on their hands if a club within the game became extinct..Same as if SI implemented deaths, drug abuse and other RL occurrences to players..As much as i would like too see this, there is only so much "realism" they can add without being sued by someone
