Player Classifications

Hi all,

I know this has probably been asked before, but how does the game decide what the player is? By this, I mean legendary striker, world class midfielder, cultured midfielder, explosive winger etc. If there was a previous thread about this, please direct me to it and ignore this thread.

I am asking because I have two very very good regens. One is classed as a world class striker, while the other is classed as cultured midfielder. However on the face of it, they appear to be as good as one another, so why isn't the midfielder also classed as world class?

Well first of all a world class striker is as important as a cultured midfielder.

In their specific roles they are among the best.

I have a player labelled as just ‘midfielder,’ though he is England’s best player, so I am pretty interested in this.

I thought it related to certain hidden stats, their reputations and then - obviously - there position. I'm interested in hearing exactly how it works though yeh...

Explosive striker or winger is when the player has at least 18 in acc and pace.

Well, I have seen world class midfielders too, so obviously that can occur. I was just wondering what the conditions were to be called world class, to be called cultured etc.
