SI_Saga
Use the run command and launch the Event Viewer (I think it's "eventvwr.exe" but not sure). Check any error messages with the date and time of the freeze. Meanwhile, make sure you have installed all drivers for your hardware (chipset, mobo, soundcar, videocard, nic, etc). A simple Windows installation (even if fully updated) after a format is not enough to make a stable system.
King-Alkmaar99
how do I find the drivers? thanks
SI_Saga
If you don't have a CD/DVD from when you bought the PC, you can always download the drivers from the official sites.

Administrators Neil Brock Posted May 10, 2010 Administrators Share Posted May 10, 2010 Are you running the 10.3 patch as well?
trekman
How many leagues are you running? You only have 894mb ram and the minimum specs say you need 1gb. While you might be able to run a couple of leagues with the amount of ram you have you really need more ram if you want to use more than about 2 or 3 leagues. You could try running gamebooster but you really need more ram. I would recommend 2-3gb as a minimum.
SI_Saga
How many leagues are you running? The OP said he played fine "last night", and all he did was a hard drive format... so it sounds software related, not a hardware limitation.

True but I still think that he wont get far with the amount of ram he has especially if he's got other things going at the same time as fm.
