Unhappy player

Hi, im currently starting my 5th season with Betis and my star centre back has become unsettled. I told him i wanted to match his ambition but he still wants to go. Is there anyway of salvaging him or should i sell him whilst theres time to replace him.

Try offering him a new contract mate also ask him to suggest a signing and sign that player that should work

try offering a contract, if that dont work (it probably wont) then just set his asking price to something that you cant refuse, if you get it, bring in someone else, if you dont he will stay and will slowly start to settle again.
