The Chairman/Fans are still living the past

This is one of the most annoying things i encountered while playing FM 2010 (P10.3)...

First of all, I began playing with the Zamalek, a team that despite having a great history, can't win anything recently, and won with them just about everything (2 CAF, 1 Premier League, 2 Egyptian Cups, Super Cup) in just about 2 years, I should've been called a legend, or at least, earned some respect, but in the end, all i get is that the fans are feeling OKAY about this, and I'm still earning what i was earning at the very beginning, 2300 per week??? How is this even possible???

I left it, and went to a struggling 17th position S.S. Lazio, and still got the same problem, everybody is expecting that I beat Palermo (4th) and Genoa (3rd), and after I draw with Palermo, that fans are feeling (just below) OKAY, and when i lose to Genoa by only 1 goal, they get devastated...

Did anybody else notice that? or does it happen to me only?

Yeah, I get similar stuff regularly.

Fans are irrational and annoying human beings. Too bad they're such a valuable source of income.

Man, if you want more money you have to negotiate your contracts

I always demand a pay increase and only sign for a 1-2 years deals.

They always offer me 2000, and whenever i ask for more, they give me a 2300 not negotiable... After leaving to Lazio, they gave me 24,500

It's based on club reputation and quality of players I believe. And becoming a club legend isn't as simple as clickity click; takes a long while.

Are real life fans/boards any different ??

There are a lot of clubs that have silverware history, and thier fans can be very unreasonable about current levels of performance ....
