Shawsy
Hi I just installed FM10 on my new iMac and this "eSellrate" window keeps popping up before I can load the game.. I'm using a boxed DVD copy of the game and I've played the game on two other Macs before and I haven't seen this "eSellrate" program until now. It's really irritating as it will refuse to let me play the game if the program can't contact ro their servers meaning the game won't load when I'm not connected to the internet. Has anyone else had this problem? Know of a solution?
GillsMan
Not sure. I Googled eSellrate, but this thread was the first one in the list. :s This is the only other thread in the forum that mentions it. http://community.sigames.com/showthread.php?t=204055&highlight=eSellrate I've no idea personally, sorry. Yid Army
Have you installed the digital download version of the patch by mistake?
Suzie MUFC
It's actually eSellerate. I remember this from a previous version of FM, might be the OP installed the patch for the digital download version by accident.
michaeltmurrayuk
This happens when you download the wrong patch. You'll need to uninstall the game, reinstall the game and apply the Retail Boxed Patch for the MAC from the link in the forum header.
ron6632
Have you tried downloading the non-eSellerate version of the patch? I know it may sound a bit daft but I bought the game for Mac through e-Sellerate and accidentally downloaded the patch for the boxed version. I couldn't load the game as the system now thought I had the boxed version. The solution was download the correct patch - which resolved the issue. Would this work in reverse? Slawbawn
There's another thread having issues with eSellerate, so it look's like it could be an issue from their end rather than the game itself.
