Due to a quirk in the coding you were possibly one of the favourites to win the tournament in the previous rounds!!

Press conference choices are too negative imo, i mean i get a positive response sometimes but it just feels like a minefield, not enough advice is given on them either by SI.

All you can do as far as i know is write some text at the bottom but that has no affect so is pointless.

If you extract the media.fmf file, you get a press conferences xml file (and some others). You can alter the wording of the questions, but they're all set up so that the responses are always very positive, positive, neutral, negative or very negative.

If you look through the file you can find out what the ideal answer is for each question if you so wish though...

Mind you, FM recognizes swear words, and recognizes a few ambitous words too, and yes i t does have an effect.

Press conferences sadly are not quite as good as they can\should be. The best thing to do I think is get the best assistant you can afford and send him to the press conferences.

I think, if SI insist on keeping this "feature", they need to overhaul it asap

im 1st 30 points clear of port vale i just said id win the match and now my team are unhappy... the SI coders behind the press conference idea are dis-abled

Had this happen to me. 12 points clear with 7 or 8 to play. The question doesn't ask if you think your team will win, thus allowing you to give a nuetral answer, it asks you to pick a team. How stupid would anybody have to be to not pick the team clear at the top?

I've just been asked about a player who seems to be carrying my team - I wouldn't mind but he's only made 9 apperances as sub.
