Players and club scouts

Strange thing is starting to happen so thought I better point it out. I have just completed my first season with Chelsea with Frank Lampard being a runaway success, Chelsea bagging the domestic double. He was the leagues top scorer with 22 goals and was my best player.

I have now started the second season and according to my scout he is rated as the 11th best midfielder at my club and so far his performances have been rubbish. Now I understand that as a player gets a year older he may lose some of his sparkle but feel this should be a gradual process and not something that happens over the space of a few months.

This also appears to be happening to other players in my squad as well - for some reason Bosingwa is now not any good and nor is Anelka, either being rated by my scouts or actually playing in a game.

Are you chaps aware of this as it sounds kind of buggy to me......
