Reminder Needed For Team Talks!

When I start a match I often go to the oppositions instructions to check their lineup. I then go to my tactics to make some marking changes, sometimes change width, d-line, tempo etc.

But if I don't remember to do my team talk before I press 'Start Match', then it starts the match without a team talk! And doesn't let me set a team talk, even if I press back!

So please SI, make it so that you can't start a match without setting a team talk!

Agree with this, it takes you to the screen before starting a match so I don't see the problem.

I agree with the TC. There have been a number of times I've done this accidentally.

So annoying when this happens, lost to mowbray in champs league final because of this! (well thats my excuse)

Most of the time i don't give team talks before games, so i don't agree with your last sentence. A reminder would be helpful though.

What i most have trouble remembering, however, is to give my mid-game substitutes team talks, which usually prompts 'X is looking complacent' or 'X is playing nervously'.

My original point stands, but I'd honestly like to know how you can 'forget' to give a team talk?????

Done this. I don't forget to do the talk but I will have been looking at something like stats or a player profile then accidentally lean on the space bar and it skips through...

Yeah if you get to the team talk page and then decide to adjust tactics, after you confirm the changes, the only option is to continue to the match, this is pretty annoying if you don't do the team talk first.

What we need is players having a state before each match, so we know what to say to them. "Looks nervous" before the game starts for example should help us determine what to say to the player before he gets on the field.
