Ideal league

I'm looking for the ideal country to suit my management style:

1) 16 teams (18 max)

2) no restrictions on foreign players (or very few)

3) a proper reserve team league

Any ideas?

Alternatively, what would your ideal league be?

Belgium, they do have a sucky playoff system though.

Sweden fits your options.

Polish league fits 1) and 2), but not the 3) (only u-21 teams), and is only 11 in reputation.

Belgian seems to be similiar to Polish but big higher in status. Dunno about reserves.

I'd suggest Portugal. Seems to fit all the requirements you ask.

Swedish or Portuguese seems the most interesting to me with that restrictions.

Holland would be a good choice. They have 18 teams, and I don't think they have any restrictions on foreigners. They also have their reserve teams in lower leagues, and they also take part in the national cups.

I played as Ajax once, and lost to my reserve team in the Dutch Cup final .

Holland. Ajax are decent with some very promising youth.

Really? One thing I love with the swedish league is the January start - altough it may be because i'm from Japan with a February start

Sounds like Holland or Portugal to me.

Germany is probably the best league with no restrictions.Just the German Cup restricts you to 3 non-EU players.

Well, actually german teams are forced to have at least 12 players under contract who have the german citizenship and at least 4 home grown players. But when you meet this requirements you are free in signing whoever you like. In fact I'm not even sure if these rules are implemented in the game.

Try AZ in Holland, had such fun using them in my game recently.

So, a lot of love for Holland here. My current save is going stale, I'll try that next.
