International Friendlies

For the first time in several releases of the game I am playing at a top club (and doing well) not to mention getting the game passed the first couple of seasons without re-starting. As such I have been able to take control of England after Capello retired and I have just qualified for the 2014 WC.

What strikes me is that I cant arrange as many friendlies as England have IRL for the lead up to 2010 in SA. Since Qualifying they have played Brazil (Nov), and Egypt (Mar) and have friendlies against Mexico and Japan in May prior to the WC kicking off.

On the game however I am allowed a friendly in November so OK but only 1 in the first week of June - why can't I have the other 2? I am just curious if there is a reason the game limits the ability to book friendlies during international windows?
