Offsides

Hi, I'm currently enjoying a save on the original game, no patch

I'm Sunderland and in the 3rd season,

I've spent heavily during this closed season and expected a top ten finish.

My major weakness so far has been that 99% of the time, my attacks are foiled by Bent or Campbell being offside.

I've tried telling Bent to stop pushing the Offside trap, but he refuses

Is there any other way I can use Bent as a poacher, without him ruining every single attack by standing in an offside position almost the entire game?

This is also a huge issue when it comes to IDF's, where my two main strikers just stand behind the center backs, waiting for a ridiculous long hoof with no direction from my center backs.
