Issue with the achievements

Now I apologise if this has been raised before, I'm sure other people might've had this issue.

I've just unlocked the achievement where I've been at a club for 10 years, 'Part Of The Furniture' I think it's called. However, I've not unlocked the achievement where you stay at a club for 5 years, 'Loyalty Card' or something.

Does anyone know why this has happened? Or have I just misunderstood how to unlock that particular achievement?

Theyre on steam only I think.

I think, and I'm not certain, but you can only unlock achievements if you downloaded FM with Steam.

If you did this then go to 'Store', search for Football Manager and click on the achievements icon on the right of the page.

I'm using the boxed game so guess i cant use it. Why is this only used with steam and not the DVD version?

OP: I think you have to be connected to the internet when each achievement is unlocked. So if you had no wi-fi signal when you pressed continue at the end of your fifth season, you'll never unlock that achievement.
