Minkaro
Quick question, and probably very simply answered. Recently my laptop decided to die, so I've been playing FM on the desktop. I've grown attached to the game. If I wanted to copy it over to my laptop, would it be as simple as just e-mailing the .fm file (aka the save file) to myself, or is there anything else I'd need to send? Richard76
Might be a bit big to email mate. Best to copy it onto a usb memory stick.

Just make sure that you copy it back into the correct file on the other machine and that both machines are running the same version. I agree with Richard as well that a USB stick is the best way. Welshace
email is a bad way to go indeed.. but yes.. simple as copying it over... as suggested.. use a usb stick...
trekman
I'd also recommend a usb stick. If you really must use email then I would first suggest that you download a free program called hjsplit which will split the save file into more managable chunks. You can then use the same program to rejoin the save file.
Minkaro
Just threw e-mail out there as an example, I copied the save on to an external hard-drive in the end. Thanks though.
