LoftyMan
I am too and from New Zealand alot these days so its become my second country. I thought id have a look to see how well they did in the Oceania qualifying group for the word cup. It was pretty good to see they qualified 1st by about 10 points, thus making them qualify for the World Cup itself. However, after looking at the World cup groups for 2010, they are not to be seen. Is this a bug? I also cant take part in the New Zealand football league or Manage the National Team. Could someone explain? Am missing something? Liniert
winners of the Ocenia area have to play a play off against i think the 5th placed team in the South American qualifying to qualify for the world cup
Quackje
Once you win the Oceania group you have to play a playoff match against one of the Asian sides. For this years world cup New Zealand defeated Bahrain to qualify.

LoftyMan
How come I cant manage New Zealand's National squad though? Its not to be found as a national team when selecting who to manage?
Quackje
If you do load all players from New Zealand, probably load the A-League too then I'm sure theres enough Kiwis for you to manage the national team.

tom_numbers
You can only manage a national side if it fulfils certain criteria, which I believe are along the lines of... "there must be a minimum of 100 or so players from that nation available for selection"
Dekker2
^^WHS, only it's actually around 40 - 50 players minimum, not 100.
