View-Only vs Playable Leagues?

If I choose all the leagues I want and make them 'view only', it says the players are not loaded and I cant play in the league. Thats all good, but I ran a test and I can still view all the players etc in the view-able leagues. So what constitutes them not being loaded? I can see them, I can offer them contracts etc so I dont know what the game means by not loading the players from the view only leagues.

I believe it doesn't load ALL players, as in the same number of players if the league was added as standard.

Plus, the major difference is you can't manage in that league.

Yeah basically as said above, not ALL are loaded, but you can see whats going on there, but cant manage either.

I understand it not being playable, but if you load a small database with just the english premiership down to league 2 you will see the database sits at 7000. If you add another league as 'view-only', the database stays the same at 7000.

This suggests that NO players are loaded from the 'view' only' league. This is what it says, but after loading this up as a test, I found that the 'view only' league had all first team players loaded.

As far as I am aware the player count display number only changes for every one thousand players that are added. So it's not saying no players are added just that not enough to exceed the next thousand have been added.

Or perhaps the leagues you are viewing-only would have already have had the players loaded in any case. For example if you played the EPL, and loaded La Liga in view only, it would be populated with players. Just not any more than you would get if you had not loaded La Liga at all.

I think it is broken. I put every league in the game on view only and the player count didn't change.
