Any advice on getting the best price when you sell players?

I haven't played muchin the last few months but I'm patched up (to date) and struggling to get as much as I used to for players.

i usually sell them for 3-4 million more then they are worth, unless they are big money names, and slip in a sell on clause for random inputs of money in the future

I must admit that I am finding it slightly easier than previous games to get good prices for my players.

As an example I got 150% of Luca's, Benayoun's and a few others values. FM2009 I would never have got these amounts for these players.

Although it does help that Man City will buy anyone!

Usually, I will sell players for twice their value if they are squad rotation and above.

You can usually sneak an inflated "fee after 1 international appearance" on youngsters.

Imagine my delight when, after selling a fairly crappy 19 year old English lad to Liverpool for £500k with a £5m international fee clause he suddenly discovered he was eligible for Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and became their star (and only) forward.

i only know how to increase for wanted players. If a team REALLY wants your player, just keep rejecting saying "the offer isn't good enough". Ive seen AI triple the offer for a player just by repeating that.
