When offered a player

Whats going on? When a player is offered to me, I agree with the price but then the club turns around and rejects it but accepts offers from other clubs for the same amount. So then I tried increasing my offer but still gets rejected even if I do a non-negotiable offer? So what is going on? Anyone have the same problem?

Are you accepting the offer via the message you receive or are you making a new offer?

yeah exactly, what is going on? I'm playing in Italy so probably some conspiracy problem involving agents and Luciano Moggi!

Are both clubs rivals for promotion, relegation or the championship? Just a guess but maybe the selling club have changed their minds about selling to a direct rival.

Does it say anything about "X will not be rushed into a decision" or anything?

If so, make sure you didn't set a deadline for the decision...that could be it?

When this has happend to me it is normally because the team offering the player wants one of my players, and will only accept a deal with the player it has offered if it is a part echange with the player it wants... I know, it is very frustrating!
