When a player comes into the game at 14, is he already fully grown, or could he get bigger? For example, a defender who is only 5'10" but is 14 years old- could he grow up to be like 6'2" or more? Or do the height/weight stay the same throughout their careers?

Yup, they can grow, but as far as I remember, their weight stays the same once they've finished growing.

Is the rate of growth for every player the same? Or do some tend to grow more rapidly and significantly than others? Also, at what age do they stop?

All I know is Romelo Lukaku became a monstrous 19yro for me (about 6"5)

So if I get a 6"6 14-year-old I should be afraid:eek:

I can confirm they do grow.

I've signed many CB's and monitored their development and have seen both increase in height and weight. Unfortunately, it is not a good indicator of the quality of the player since most turned out to be cack, but rest assured, they DO grow.
