How do you go from amateur to semi-professional? What are the requirements?

Thanks

Wining, gaining promotions and having a healthy bank balance are the only things within your power to do for the board to decide to go pro from what I've read on here regarding this issue.

offer all your players pro contracts, if all sign i think you automatically go pro. Did it with AFC Wimbledon :)

Some amateur clubs are hard-wired to be so. Such as Queen's Park. You can't make them Professional - there are probably other examples of such clubs too.

However if they're not hard-wired, then yes, you can turn it semi-pro or pro by offering full-time contracts.

They're meant to be, but apparently they're not

Yes it is a sad state. Hell even the SPL have a rule that goes along the line "All clubs must be Full Time Professional - except Queen's Park" :(
