DeeTee
Apologies if this is in the wrong section of the forum. Please feel free to move it if that's the case. I've just bought this player. He's listed as a natural DM, and an accomplished CM and DC: I play two systems, one of which doesn't involve a DM. I normally train players like this to the point where they're also a "natural" CM, but I can't decide if this player would be better in the centre of midfield, or the centre of defence. I'm leaning slightly towards defence, as his concentration is so high. What would you all train this guy as?
dafuge
He looks good enough to play anywhere, but it is a shame you don't use a DM as that is what I see him as. I'd probably go for CM over DC, just because of his jumping.
DeeTee
Thanks. I've got him training as CM now, but was having a moment of doubt. I do use him as a DM most of the time, I'd just like him to be able to fit into both of the systems I use (4-4-2 with wingers at home, 4-5-1 away or against tough opposition). This. A centre-back who cannot jump is lethal in the Premiership.
