New player positions

I was wondering if any one else has had success playing players out of position.

I have Jay Emmanual Thomas for Ajax, we are 6 years into the future so he is mid twenties.

He is down as a d dm lc

I played him centre mid for the whole of last season, but noticed my left wingers hit alot of crosses to the back post, knowing what I know about him in real life, and the fact he is 6' 4 I decided to drop him in the right wing slot.

I did this half way through the season and he has repaid me with about 10 goals already

I tried playing Vukcevic as a striker, which worked pretty well. His insane left foot scored 4 goals in 3 matches.

Also I retrained Pjanic as a right winger, where he does quite well.

Yeah Vukcevic is a beast wherever he plays, but especially when you train him as striker, he scored 9 goals in 3 games for me once, first 2, then three, then 4. His free kicks are just ridiculous aswell.
