Tycoon Takeovers abroad

Do tycoon takeovers happen in leagues other than England like for example spain, Italy,France

yes im pretty sure it does happen in other country's

Not all though, I am pretty sure there is an EDT file somewhere that restricts certain type of takeovers in some countries.

For example, IIRC Germany has some restrictions.

Maybe someone else knows more details?

It shouldnt happen at Real Madrid or Barcelona, they have an electoral process and no owner. It also shouldnt happen at some German teams like Bayer Leverkusen who are owned by a pharmaceutical powerhouse, the same goes for other clubs who are owned by companies and form part of their portfolio. German teams were originally created as a means to keep the workers of the companies happy and bonded. The same happens with Juventus who are owned by Ferrari/Fiat, founded by them and also part of their portfolio. These teams should never have a takeover, it would essentially mean either the parent company has gone bust or they dumped it, both very rare events.

Believe it or not it's actually one of the most reliable cars around. It may not be classy but its considered a great car to have in terms of reliability.

Juventus were formed in order to give the workers at the Fiat factory something to do at weekends and was used as an incentive to do well at work. Also every Juventus player gets free use of a Fiat built car for a season when they are a member of the club. The choice is a fiat or a ferrari. Tough choice

I've had a takeover in Iceland as Keflavík by a South-African, so it's pretty random if you ask me

yea, like in Turkey, a rick sugardaddy could come up to head of ur board and splash few cash but no one can actually buy control of a club. every chairman comes with an election of board members.

takeovers are not allowed in germany, so they should NEVER happen

I remember in one game I played on FM09, this Indonesian club Deltras got taken over by a bunch of Uruguyans and went from being worth around $925,000 (Australian dollars) to about $65,000,000.

I know, uh. It was funny though, the club was worth $65m, they went on to win the Indonesian league about 10 seasons in a row, yet they couldn't attract anyone to the club.

im in 2021 and france seem to have the most tycoons take overs.

I've never had any take over apart from directors taking over from stepping down chairmen. Definetly none that throw money into the club.

There are no takeovers in Brazil either.

If a chairman steps down, a new board member takes over.
