robdp2002 Posted March 24, 2010 Share Posted March 24, 2010 So I haven't played FM for a few months now, but decided I wanted to start up a Fiorentina one. Downloaded the 10.2 patch and no problems getting it all started. Was getting a pop up window from ecellerate asking me to pay $29.99 for activation, but I just closed the box and ignored it, and was able to play the game just fine. However.....I've just reached the January transfer window, and the game is saying I must activate my copy before I can continue playing it!? What the hell! As far as I know from searches, Mac versions don't need activation, so why the hell is my game, which I paid for outright, now demanding an activation and asking me for money, when I've already played it loads before the download of patch 10.2, and upto half a season with patch 10.2! Very frustrated as it won't let me continue the game, just keeps booting me out to the screen asking for money. Is this a bug or a virus?! Any help from you guys at SI would be great. Vic Taylor Posted March 24, 2010 Share Posted March 24, 2010 If you bought the boxed version of the game, make sure you've downloaded the boxed version of the patch.
