Help with new club

I had a brilliant career with Newcastle where I stayed there many years and was very succesful

I was getting bored so I decided to resign and i got the Ac Millan job

I want to play the 4-5-1 and have the players to do so but my players are not adapting to it

In the pre season freindlies I was killing teams but now in the league I loose like 1-0 and just cant score

Any Advice

How long does it take a team to adapt to the formation ?

Not wanting to go against your evident managerial expertise, but generally it's a better idea to use a formation that is better suited to the personnel you have, rather than a formation you like, and then slowly adapt it to your preferred formation. It generally takes about 6 months for a team to fully adapt to a new formation, depending on the versatility/ability of your players.

Yes that is the case

I looked at the players and a 4-3-3 is the best formation suitable

But after 2 or 3 games I cant seem to score

So shall I just keep it and hopefully they will blend or change ??

maybe cause of the language may take time 2 learn have a look at thecoaches in your team try also 2 ask for recomendation from a certain player
