How often has Messi been injured in your game?

There has been said a lot about Messi this last few days, he is without doubt football's best player. But one of his drawbacks is that he tends to be injury prone.

FM2010 also reflects this (in my Hoffenheim save):

In 4 seasons time he has had a whopping 17 injuries, of which 9 injuries were long-term (over a month). Since 2008/2009 he only had 1 season where a played over 20 league games.

Despite his injury-proneness he averages above 8.00 each season.

So how often has Lionel Messi been injured in your game?

No screen shot, but my next game after reading your post was against Barca and Messi picked up a knock.

A quick look at his injury history gives him a whole page of injuries (29) up to Feb 2016.

Lots. He's fragile. And gets kicked. A lot.

in game maybe, but IRL not at all. Maybe the game over-compensating for the undoubted attention AI teams will give him (i.e. there will pretty much always be somebody set to tackle him hard/aggressively).
