Sifha238
What the difference it make if you choose whether Public or Private when dealing with transfer ?
Vangelis21
Private: (99% of the cases) normal way of making transfers. There is a chance that it will go public by itself (as it happens in real life with all the press around it) public: very rare, More possibilities that other teams will join the bidding resulting in a more difficult transfer deal by the end
Ryknow
Why is that option there though? Is it mainly for selling players, just to attract more interest?
Howie
I think public unsettles the player and might make them kick-up a fuss and demand a move.
Ryknow
Nice, didn't know that. I will give it a whirl as my seasons just ended.
hhhonlyfan
i think but maybe wrong that if you put public its in the hope of getting bigger transfer bids for him along with club is basically giving up keeping the said player I always release public when selling one of my players. i think it can also be useful for the fan confidence gauge as well. they know player is on the way out. also found when public over private player seems to move easier to new club as it has unsettling effect
