Thelfcfan Posted March 20, 2010 Share Posted March 20, 2010 So guys on balance Inter 4 - 1 Fiorentina doesn't look a particularly amazing result for me... however, as you can see below: After 14 minutes Cesar was injured, I stupidly decided against having a sub goalkeeper not predicting that my keeper would get injured, I mean what are the odds of that? well anyway, evidently he was. I was 1-0 up when the injury occured and when Fiorentina equalised after a simple shot went in I thought I was doomed... but no! Materazzi (the guy I randomly chose to put in goal) pulls out a very respectable 6.9 rating to only conceide the on egoal as Eto'o helped power us to a 4-1 victory Moral of this story, having a goalkeeper on the bench isn't always necessary... oh and outfield players seem to be good as goalkeepers on FM.
