1. Yes - especially with a club I'm unfamiliar with. Lets you get a first taste for which players should get the boot early doors.

2. Yes, otherwise the greedy little .... will probably eat too much of my wage budget for their ability

3. Sometimes - especially in bigger matches or if there are morale problems in the squad.

4. No. I absolutely hate them in their current state, and although the AssMan can sometimes have a negative effect, I find that I have more of a negative effect, regardless of what answers I choose.

5. No, otherwise a season would take forever!

6. Yes, keeps the season ticking along at a nice pace, even if some of the 'key' moments aren't that 'key'..

7. Nah, although I don't go for full 3D, I prefer the wee blobs than text only.

1. Yes - So I can get the players I want fit and see how new players fit into tactics.

2. Yes - So I control the budget.

3. Yes - Usually see what the AM says then make adjustments as I feel needed.

4. Yes - Didn't much on 09 but do this year, I don't get that many though in the lower leagues.

5/6/7. - Extended highlights.

1. Yes. Friendlies are for getting my players match fit and the assistant doesn't cut it for me. I'll often change the entire team at half time.

2. Yes. I control the clubs budget as much as possible, and the assistant will occasionally give contracts to players I'd rather left on a free.

3. No. Can't be bothered.

4. No. Can't be bothered.

5. No. Can't be bothered. I rarely even bother watching the first half of a game, ALT+TAB out to a webpage and back for a quick check of the score. I want to get through a season in a decent time and watching a full game would drive me crazy.

6. Yes. Watch all the key moments of the second half, first half if it's an important game.

7. No. 3D for no particular reason really.

1. Only with a new club. When I am settled, I just set out tactics I want to see in action, and let me assistant try them.

2. Yes, as my opinion on whether a player/staff member is good enough might well differ to that of the game.

3. I click on the Ask Assistant option, then tweak it accordingly.

4. Mostly, yes. Although I am starting to leave the pre-match ones to my assistant, as they as too monotonous. The post-match ones are only just bearable.

5. No, I'd still be in my first season if I did.

1. yup, i can't trust my assistant. he usually balls up everything he does

2. for reserve players and first teamers, yeah. for under 18s, no unless it's a very bright prospect

3. it depends. when i'm ****ed after a match, i usually just click on the ask assistant button. otherwise, i do team talks myself

4. again, it depends. if it's a press conference before/after a big match, then i'll go to the press conference. also, if i'm feeling immensely proud after a match or there was controversy, i'll go to that press conference too. otherwise, no, i send my assistant

5. no, takes too long

6. yeah, and i fast forward through the very slow moments or when the opposition is on the attack

7. nope, i can't watch my wonderful football if i do that

1. Yes. New players, tactical revisions etc etc is something I want to see first hand before going into the season proper.

2. Yes. I usually set an assistant to renew youth contracts. If I have a hot prospect I will intervene and offer a contract myself though.

3. Yes. Tbh I don't know as much as I should about how to do them in an optimal fashion, but I still do them.

4. Yes. I like full control over what is being said. If anyone is going to upset my oh so sensitive primmadonna players it's going to be me. ;)

5. No. That is where I draw the line. It's a game, not my job!!!

6. No. Extended highlights is the best of two worlds for me.

7. No. When 2D came I went for that straight away. Same thing happened when 3D was introduced and I am not looking back.
