Starting mid-season or with an off-calendar league

Hi.

I noticed that when I start with a country/league that starts, say, in Jan (US for example) I do not get any calculations for matches/tables for the leagues that should be in progress even though I have them active (Eng, Fra, Ger). Is this the way it should be setup? In previous FMs if I started in the US, say, in Jan '08 and English league was to start in July/Aug of '08, I would see mid-season stats for '07-08 season for England for example.

Can anyone shed more light on this?

I am curious if they made this change in FM10? I don't mind it, just wanted to double-check.

The only thing that looks weird is having zeros for all those leagues you have active but are mid-season. Or would that re-calculate at year end (summer)? Anyone who can help with this, I would really appreciate it.
