Major Massive Help?

Hey Guys.

Sorry for the rather annoying thread.

Im deploying to afghan in a week - Here's the problem.

Im taking the laptop with me and obviously have played FM and CM since I was about 8 lol.

Ive basically lost my disc and cannot play the game?

Ive got steam but when I play through steam its saying I need the disc like it would if i played normally.

Ive still got my box with product key.

So here's the question.

With my product key if I re download FM10 on steam and install it again will it work without a cd?

If not how do I get it to work without a disc?

Did you patch the Steam version?

It shouldn't ask for the disk unless you patch it manually with the patch for the boxed version. If that's the case, you're right in that you need to re-install it through Steam. It will automatically be patched so you don't need to patch it at all.
