fatboyjohnmulhern
Can somebody tell why they wouldn't send their player to specialist and opt to let their physios to treat the injury instead. I don't see why this is an option if no-body would use it. My only guess is that it is an additional expense, but i do not know how much etc. Cheers. ArsenalFan7
Specialist costs you money and quite a lot I think
Montanaro
Where in finances does it list the deficit for sending them to a specialist? I've always wondered this.
Tomer
Yeah, it'll cost you some money. Not sure how much or what category it's filed in. I've previously not sent a player to a specialist because he agreed a contract with another club already. It's just one click, they should leave it in. Katarian
It comes under Other or Non Footballing costs. It's almost impossible to work out how much it costs, but I always do it. I can't bring myself to potentially ruin a virtual players career for some reaosn, I'm so soft :o.
11Clarkie11
Not such an issue with a team in CCL1 and above. But for a Blue Square North team, a specialist may take away a huge chunk of their budget?
fatboyjohnmulhern
So, all in all, my answer will remain inconclusive. What however, should be done is like when you click on take injections option, a box tells you the adverse effects for choosing it, the same should be done for send to specialist option. phnompenhandy
Not inconclusive if you're not closed-minded. It costs money and lower league, poorer clubs have to be mindful of such costs.
kieronbrown73
IRL don't clubs take out insurances on their players to cover things like this?
brigandinho
Why isn't the estimated price included in the message? I suspected there was a cost, but nowhere does it actually say so.
deltablue
I've always gone for specialist, not just to get them back quicker but also as positive gesture to the player. I've reasoned there would be a cost to it but definitely would find it helpful to know what, especially if I find myself at a club with little money (which on one save I am) and find myself severely hit financially. Thankfully the specialist option isn't needed that much for me recently.
SouthgatesRedWhiteArmy
I always go for the specialist option. Although I've never thought about the costs, always just wanted the best treatment for my players and back quicker to help me push on. specially if their an important first team player. jayahr
Why isn't the estimated price included in the message? I suspected there was a cost, but nowhere does it actually say so. If there is any financial downside to the option (which would be the only justification for the other options' exististence) the indeed the figure should be given. How else should we be able to make an educated choice???
