mightyqpr
I was manager of stockport county, top of league 1 and going strong, had a great young team and backroom staff, then i got a offer from portsmouth who were in the championship relegation zone, i couldn't resist the offer of being manager of a bigger club so i took it, i keep them up then shortly after the club went into administration and i lost most of the team and started the new season with -10 points, now in january and on -2 points, my reputation is lowered so now i cant even get a league 1 job, has anyone else made similar mistakes? heathxxx
The grass is never greener When it comes to a decision like this, I always make a separate save before I leave the former club. I then consider them to be two completely different games. I once had a superb save with Hyde United in FM09 where I managed to get offered the Man Utd job. I took it of course, but after a few years of winning everything, I soon got bored of that save. I always wished I'd made a backup save.
