Database sizes

Just wondering what sort of database people use? Does the maximum recommended amount of players differ according to how fast your computer is? The problem I find is that I prefer managing lower league clubs who can't scout out of the UK, making finding players a rather boring task as I have to go through every team and every player to find the ones I want.

I've been experimenting with custom databases and have found that loading players from the main regions, top division clubs works best, however in doing that I miss out on all the cheaper gems at the smaller clubs. Can any recommend a good setup?

Yes it does differ according to that. Mine recommends me around 120 000 players iirc but I have it much lower than that because I like the game very fast.

I use small database but the customise function which increases the staff from 30,000 to about 80,000. You should do that with load all players from UK.

I load them along with top divisions in Europe and all internationals - it's not directly relevant to me in the lower leagues but it keeps a balance at the top level.

I use medium with quite alot of leagues.

I use 16000 to 20000 with 5-6 playable and 10ish view only leagues. So many good regens after 7 seasons you need no database at all .

I play with 2.8 Intel core 2 duo only tho.
