View Full Version : Javier Acuna unhappy about fitting in with current setup

Playing Notts County in 2nd season. League 1.

Just bought Javier Acuna from Real Madrid for 1.2m

Call a press conference to welcome him to the club.

Was asked the question: Will this signing see you change the tactics you employ?

My reply: I think Javier can slot into our existing setup easily.

Now he is unhappy at my negative words.

EH!?!?!? So does he expect me to change my tactics just cos ive bought him? No need too he will fit in nicely with my 4-1-2-1-2.

Anyone any idea whats going on? I have installed the 10.3 patch but the game was started before unstalling it.

Also, he any good? ;)

Cheers in advance!

I just had the same thing today when I signed Michael Owen, its strange. I reckon Acuna should be able to do a decent job at league 1 level.

He's doing a decent job at my La Liga Mallorca team, 7 goals in 11 games, so should do a amazing job in League 1.

2 outta 2 so far. Impressive too. Soon as he can speak English theyll start flying in more. His toys ae back in pram now. No longer unhappy.

Obviously he thinks that he is the stand-out player of the team and thinks that you should be adjusting the tactics around him, not forcing him to slot into your existing tactics.

This will be why he is unhappy.
