So .. is this random?

As you can see, this is the "forward of the year" list .. i was expecting one of my strikers to be there, but it didn't happen ..

Odita has ONE goal and ONE assist.

This is my striker with 10 more goals and 3 more assists than Odita and a higher average rating but he didn't make the list.

So, what was the problem exactly?

i agree it does seem a bit weird how a player with one goal and one assists is shortlisted ahead of your player

No way did your 18 goal-man deserve it over the other bloke. He must have worked very hard to get that goal and assist .

Yup, reputation plays too big a part for alot of things for my liking.

Had this problem for as long as I can remember playing FM, it's laughable really. The whole 'nominate players based on their reputation' is seriously flawed.
