View Full Version : Interesting leagues?

I want to start a new game in which I will not stay longer than 2 seasons with any club. For that I'm looking for some interesting leagues. They shouldn't be from the big countries (England, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, Scotland, Brazil, Argentina) and I don't mind downloading new leagues as long as they don't crash my game after a few seasons. So any good ideas?

Mexico and the USA.

They are probably the two most unusual leagues that are not from nations you mentioned.

USA have a draft system, right? What's special about Mexico?

I played one season in the Mexican 2nd division. 17 teams, play each once, then the top seven have a promotion play off. Then you repeat the whole process again. Meanwhile, the team with the lowest points average for the last three years is relegated.

I lost the play-off final after winning the league by miles. Not happy.

It was fun for a season.

Thanks, that sounds interesting and a bit confusing ;)
I'll give that a try.

Argentina, the season is split into 2 halfs so both points tallys from the 2 mini seasons gives you your gross total for the season meaning you could finish 3rd in the first half of the season, have the winter break then win the second part of the season and still may or may not win the league overall.

Yeah all the South American leagues can be quite odd and interesting, take awhile to get used to.
