Does anyone else miss SO many penalties?

Since downloading 10.3.0, I seem to have missed at least over half of all the penalties taken. Is anyone else having this problem?

yeah, i had defoe miss 3 on the spin (mimics real life i guess) then Adriano who had banging then in no problem missed 4 straight penalty kicks

No i always score my pens, not sure why you miss yours so much, do you have your best penalty taker taking the pens?

My main striker with 20 penalty taking was missing loads, replaced him with my goalkeeper, who has 13, and haven't missed since.

How are they being missed ?

Is the keeper saving them or are they being spooned over the bar/wide.

Mostly saved, a couple have gone over/wide but it shouldn't really matter.

The supkeeper thing only existed in 10.2.

On topic, I had a run of 7 pens in a row saved but now they are back to scoring again.

I've had all four scored.

I haven't missed yet, 3 for 3 with 3 different players stepping up

it depends on more then just pen taking. I had a shootout where every nervous player missed. What's also important is influence, finishing, composure, and obviously state of mind (i wish that was obvious to me before i lost that shootout )

try changing your penalty takers

Since 10.3 the only penalties I've had have been in a penalty shoot out where all were scored.

I love it....when people don't miss penalties in shootouts and it ends 15-14, people complain. When people don't score penalties, they complain. REALLY??? Penalties get missed, penalties get made. For example: Landon Donovan, up to the MLS Cup Final, had only missed 2 out of 50 penalties up to the shootout. His shoot goes blazing over the bar.

It happens, get over it.

I've recently found myself thinking the opposite - I have yet to see a missed penalty in two seasons in my matches - by us or the opposition. No shoot-outs yet though.

I'd say 1 in 4 of mine are saved by the keeper.

I think it is more realistic now.

Keep in mind that penalty taking attribute is not the only thing that detirmens how good it will be taken.

Take composure, technique, finishing, strength, balance and such into account. Morale, and performance on the given day/match are also very important. Strikers still take them the best...

Score most. Ratio feels about right.

Not sure if it matters but I look for a 'penalty taking', 'composure' combination when assigning my penalty taker.
