How do you get work permits for south americans?

Im with swansea city, playing well in the championship. im 4th, and half way through feb, so im sure i'll get promoted! but i cant seem to get work permits for foreign players, will that change in premiership guys? Ta

I have found that the higher reputation you have it does SEEM to get easier to get work permits.

However at the end of the day if a player has not completed the 75% of international fixtures in the last 2 years then he HAS to be an EXCEPTIONAL talent to get a permit.

ok cool. i can get scouts with knowledge of south american countries, will that help bring players in?

Yeah - the better the potential of the player the better chance he has of receiving a permit. And more scout knowledge of that region will show more players in your search results.

Just tell the home office he has portuguese grandparents and knock up a quick fake passport. I can see no problems there whatsoever, if it's good enough for Arsene Wenger and Sylvinho it's good enough for me.

You need to send to an afiliate team or have him stay in a country where work permits are easy to get. Problem with FM is it doesnt allow you to loan to a specific club for a long period like Arsenal or Chelsea do irl and who are not afiliates.
