All of my midfielders have the ppm to not shoot from distance, I use the work into box shout, all settings have rarely long shot setting, but still Diaby, Denilson, Walcott, Silva, Song, and everyone just shoots the second they touch the ball. Its probably because they don't have a pass available, most likely because all the other players are running away from the ball.
