Game will not run since patch 3 installed

I'm getting the following messege

" your free trial period is over "

it's the original game boxed bought the day it came out, and now it asks for an activation key

i have tried the one on the back of the mannual but no go

i installed the game straight from the box and not from steam due to the fact that i like to choose my self if i want to upgrade to the naxt patch or not..

Any advise or is this just another F**k up and Bug by SI games

Try to fix 1 and create 100 more my game worked fine before instaling the new patch

Sounds like you've installed the wrong patch. You need to download the Boxed patch (not Digital Download) and use that instead. To re-apply the patch you need to uninstall the game, install it again then use the right patch.

Thanks that worked a treat did not have to unistall either just ran the boxed patch
