Anyone experiance FM10 on a lump of rubbish like this?

I am thinking of trying to install FM10 on a PC that is below minimum requirements. I have 256MB Ram, a 2GHz Pentinum 4 processor (NOT dual-core) and an ancient 128MB Nvidia video card whose name I can't remember. I am running Windows XP. Would I be able to play the game, even if only with the Premier League and a small database, or would it plain not work?

Should work, but 3D may stutter. Best way is to try and see.

Download and try the demo- make sure that all your drivers, Windows, directX and Java are all updated

The machine in question does not even have internet access though - I will download what I can and put it on a USB. Does the game need SP3?

For future reference to anyone interested, the game is unplayable on the above machine, at least for me. I did not even get to the process matches part, every screen took five seconds to load. Doesn't sound like a lot, but it was too annoying and a very bad omen.

Your problem is the Ram only.. I play it on a 768 SDRAM, AthlonXp1900+ processor with gf6600 128ram and im enjoying it albeit slow with at least 4 playable leagues

What's wrong with the machine you're using now?

My parents are split, the above laptop is the only one at my mum's place.
