Tactical Consistency

I'm just starting my 2nd season playing as Dover, I got them promoted in first season, and I am top half of blue square premier at the moment.

However I near always use 4-4-2, playing wide and quick. Obviously I sometimes change players around, and the only other thing I really change is how attacking I am (as you have to change depending on opponent) and how high our defensive line is.

Yet on my personal profile, my tactical consistency rating is 7. It has decreased 3 times in a row. Why does it do this, and how can I get it back up?

Surely they realise you can't play the same team and exactly the same tactics every game if you want to be successful..

Some of the manager attributes are illogical in the extreme - and thankfully purely cosmetic. Just keep playing the way you think best.

Yeah, I have 13 English players in my Man Utd first team (22 players), and my domestic player bias is 5..

In FM2008 i had tactical consistency 16+ in all my 4+ seasons saves. Now it is usually around 9 :/.

It is purely cosmetic, Konfuchie, in the fact that it makes absolutely no difference to the gameplay whatsoever and is just a rough indicator.

It doesn't seem like it has a whole lot of use, apart from the fact that a manager might want to see their stats.

What makes other teams want to sign you as their manager than?
