need advice on how to start the game with out internet connection

As I bought the game through steam, I used to use the steps below to start the game without having an internet connection but that’s not working now with fm2010 and ive been searching the forum for answer so please can anyone show me the way to start the game without having an internet connection.

First off open the steam folder in your c/drive

Once there find the folder called steamapps

then open the common folder

then open 2009 folder

Then right click fm2009 icon and select create shortcut.

Drop that to your desktop.

Once all this is done you will not need to load up steam every time you play the game.

You have to load Steam in the background but you can set it to "Offline" mode so you don't have to be connected.
